  15. 1) Copy 3ivx.cm.flask to your flaskmpeg directory.
  16. 2) Restart flaskmpeg if it's running.
  17. 3) Next time you start flaskmpeg you will see '3ivx output' in the Select Output Format menu.

  27. Encoding Notes

  30. VERY IMPORTANT! When you encode with Data Rate Tracking it's very important that you
  31. specify in the General Settings of the Global Project Options the length of the clip in seconds or frames. If you
  32. use 'compile whole file' flaskmpeg will give FlaskQT bogus information about the length of the clip and Data Rate Tracking will
  33. as a consequence not work. A way to get this information is to use the built-in player in FlaskMPEG and wind to the end of the clip
  34. and note the time. Remember to seek to the beginning before starting the encode!

  36. This betaversion doesn't do the actual audiocompression but calculates the videobitrate so that the audio will fit in the final file.
  37. You need to use QuicktimePlayer Pro (www.apple.com/quicktime) to add sound to the clip.
